Certified Organic by the USDA
Dr. Bronner's products are certified Organic according to USDA NOP (National Organic Program) standards. These are the same standards consumers trust for organic food certification. Products with more than 95% organic ingredients display the USDA seal on the front of the packaging. Our Castile soaps (with over 90% organic ingredients) feature the information "Made with Organic Oils".

"Oregon Tilth" is a non-profit organic certifier that promotes sustainable and socially responsible organic agriculture.
Regenerative Organic Certified™
The Regenerative Organic Farming Certification is a holistic agricultural certification that encompasses pasture-based animal welfare, equity for farmers and workers, and stringent requirements for soil health and land management. Our coconut oil is certified as such, and we are working to have all of our key ingredients certified as well in the coming years.
Fair Trade Certificate - Fair for Life
Our core ingredients are Fair Trade certified, in accordance with the Fair for Life Certification Programme. This programme ensures decent working conditions and fair prices throughout the supply chain. Dr. Bronner's was the first company to create Fair Trade supply chains for coconut oil and palm oil.
Personal hygiene products made with NSF-certified organic ingredients.
Dr. Bronner's All-One toothpaste is certified according to NSF/ANSI 305 standards, meaning that at least 70% of its ingredients are certified organic. However, it does not have NOP certification, which is more focused on the food industry, due to some methods and processes used in the production of personal hygiene products.
Leaping Bunny
Dr. Bronner's products and their ingredients are never tested on animals, hence the Leaping Bunny logo awarded by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC) .
Vegan Action
Ação Vegan ensures and certifies that our vegan products contain no animal products or byproducts and that no animal-derived products are used in the production process. Only the following products are not vegan: Body balms and lip balms, as they contain organic beeswax, and Facial Toners (sold in Japan and Korea) because they contain honey.
Dr. Bronner's as a B Corp
The B Corp™ Certification is awarded to for-profit companies by the non-profit organization B Lab that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Dr. Bronner's is the second-highest-ranked company in the world.
Free from GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms)
Dr. Bronner's products do not contain any genetically modified ingredients or organisms (GMOs). The GMO-free verification process involves investigating and confirming that both the final products and their ingredients have not undergone any contamination processes involving GMOs.
Kosher Certification
Our coconut oil is kosher certified . The final product, as well as the entire production process, complies with strict policies based on kosher food regulations, including cleanliness, purity, and quality.
