From a special eco-design project comes the Ocean Bubble Buddy, a soap dish and grater made from approximately 99% plastic waste collected from the oceans, mainly discarded fishing gear – also known as ghost nets. The waste is broken down and melted to create this soap dish.
Dr. Bronner's Organic Castile Bar Soap is the perfect ally – it's plant-based, biodegradable, comes packaged in post-consumer recycled paper, and grates easily!
This eco-design project was developed by Foekje Fleur in collaboration with Sea Shepherd.
Sea Shepherd is an international non-profit organization dedicated to marine conservation through direct action campaigns to defend wildlife, conserve and protect the ocean from illegal exploitation and environmental destruction.
Dr. Bronner's is a partner of Sea Shepherd Global and supported the acquisition of the MV Emanuel Bronner vessel for the defense of marine wildlife and to remove trash from the Baltic Sea.

Usage tips
Bubble Buddy has a dual function:
Soap dish - allows you to keep the soap dry between uses;
Grater - allows you to reduce soap into small flakes that dissolve easily in hot water and can be used for body, dishes, laundry, house cleaning and much more.
